WIPs - Knitting the Groovy Tank Pt. 1

Over the weekend, I started knitting a gauge swatch for the Groovy Tank by Midsummer Knits. I'm using Ritual Dyes sock yarn, Maiden, in the colorway Hyacinth. It's such a pretty color with tones of blue and purple. I'm not a big fan of the texture, though. For a sock yarn, it's not that soft, but it sure is stretchy! I'm hopeful that once it's washed and blocked the fibers will relax somewhat.
